New Phoenix Pottery has been my own If You Give a Mouse a Cookie story—one small step led to another, and before I knew it, pottery had become a meaningful part of my life. After my very first class at New Phoenix Studio, I quickly realized it was my calming oasis. I love the positive, friendly energy there, and what started as a hobby has grown into something much deeper.

These days, I’m diving into glaze chemistry—reviving our studio glazes, experimenting with new recipes, and learning something new every day. I’ve also developed a bit of a love-hate relationship with the NPP pugmill (though I think Peter Pugmill and I have finally made peace!). And since cleaning and organizing are totally my jam, you can usually find me buzzing around the studio with a sponge in hand—and hopefully a big smile on my face.
