Hello! I’m a Baltimore-based potter whose ceramics journey started with a little convincing from my wonderful husband, Phillip Klassen, to take classes at the Potters Guild of Baltimore. Working primarily on the wheel, I enjoy exploring form, texture, and the ways they come together in functional pottery. My recent work has focused on teaware—teapots, tea cups, and tea bowls—where I continue to experiment with shape, surface, and handle variations. I especially enjoy problem-solving complex forms while paying close attention to ergonomics and function (that’s the engineer in me).
