Try It – Potter’s Wheel Class

This class meets on Saturday from 10am – 1pm

This class is for anyone who wants to explore working on the potter’s wheel.

No experience necessary.

All of our potter’s wheels are adult sized.

If you are under the age of 13, please consider one of our kid’s classes instead.

In this class you will learn how to place clay onto the wheel and use its centrifugal force to make shapes such as cups or bowls.

At the end of class, you will pick 2 of your favorite pieces from those you have created, and then choose (from 5 colors) which glaze color you would like for each.

Your pieces must then be finished by us.

They will be lightly trimmed, left to dry out, bisque fired, glazed, and finally, glazed fired.

Each firing takes several days, we thank you for your patience in advance while you wait for your pieces.

Pieces may be picked up one month from the day of your class.

Please schedule to pick up your pieces the following month.
